Apart from their last visit, a 5-2 defeat in 2004, Wolves have a reasonable record at Stamford Bridge. That was their only defeat in eight visits, with Wolves winning three times in that period. But Mick McCarthy's side has gone six Premier League games without a win and face a Chelsea side boasting six wins out of six at Stamford Bridge while scoring 16 goals and conceding just one in the process.

WOLVES head into Saturday's game at Chelsea with no fresh injury worries. David Jones, Stephen Ward and Matt Hill are all closer to fitness as the club await the latest scan on injury-jinxed goalkeeper Matt Murray. Jones and Ward have undergone knee operations whilst Hill has been suffering from an ankle problem for almost three weeks.

Matt’s been for a scan on his knee but I haven’t had the results of that yet   -Mick McCarthy
